We are proud to be a licensee of Goodweave, a non-profit organization working to stop child labor, forced labor and bonded labor in global supply chains. Goodweave makes regular, unannounced inspections of the licensee production facilities in countries such as, Nepal and India. Workplace conditions are documented and verifiable there was no child labor, forced or bonded labor allowed in the making of a rug.
With each Goodweave labeled rug, you can be assured there is full transparency and ethics in the making of your rug. A portion of the proceeds we are pleased to know is to support educational programs for children in these communities.
