Why we use 925 sterling silver and stainless-steel base materials?

925 sterling silver is an alloy made up of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper or zinc.  Sterling silver is more expensive than stainless steel jewelry usually. 

Stainless steel is a steel alloy that contains a minimum chromium content of 10.5%.  Stainless steel is highly resistant to corrosion and rust due to the protective layer formed from the chromium reacting with the oxygen in the air.  Please check product pages to see what base material is used in the description.

What does rhodium plated and gold-plated mean?

Being a member of the platinum group of metals, rhodium is silver-hued, highly reflective, highly durable, and does not tarnish or corrode. Gold plating is the process of applying a thin layer of gold to a metal like copper or silver making it look like gold. Often referred as gold vermeil, gold plating of 2.5 microns over 925 sterling silver is high quality and longer lasting.  

How do I care for my jewelry?

Please make sure to clean all earring posts with rubbing alcohol before use.  
Avoid contact with moisture and liquids; this includes water, lotion, sunscreen, and perfume to ensure the longevity of the jewelry. We recommend removing your jewelry when you shower, work out, and sleep.  To avoid fading over time, store jewelry in a dark place.  If you need to clean your jewelry, use a soft cloth to wipe away dirt and maintain the shine. 

 

What does 444 mean?  What does the alchemy symbol mean? 

The angel number 444 is a powerful message you are on the right path and your angels are by your side offering you love and guidance.  The Philosopher's Stone symbol is comprised of a circle inside a square surrounded by a triangle inside another circle.  Philosopher’s stone is one of the most interesting alchemical symbols representing enlightenment, heavenly bliss, and perfection in alchemy.

 

Who is Archangel Michael and Rafael?

The most powerful of all the angels, Michael, is known of protection.  One of the 7 holy angels, Archangel Rafael is known for being the patron of healing.

 

Why is nickel, lead, and cadmium free jewelry important?

Nickel, lead, and cadmium can cause redness, itchiness, and soreness of skin due to allergic reactions for some people.  You can avoid the risk of allergic reactions by avoiding these materials. Lead and cadmium are known toxins.   Jewelry made without nickel tends to retain its value better over time since it doesn't corrode or lose luster as easily as metals contain nickel can.

We typically ship all orders within 1-2 business days that they are placed. Orders in the US will ship USPS.

When will my pre-order ship?

All pre-order items should have their estimated ship date noted on the product page, and in your order confirmation email. If you can’t find it, email contact@novarude.com for more information.

How do I cancel or update my order?

Please email contact@novarude.com and we can handle this for you! Try to email us before 2pm EST the day you place the order so we can ensure that it is changed before we ship your order out.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you will receive an email confirmation with the tracking with 2-3 business days. If you need more information or have any questions about your tracking, email contact@novarude.com

What happens if my order is lost or stolen?

We get insurance on all orders. If USPS shows the item as delivered on their end, we take no responsibility for a stolen package.  Lost in transit, please reach out to contact@novarude.com

How do I return or exchange my order?

We accept returns within 14 days!  You will need your order number + shipping zip code. Your order number can be found in your email confirmation.

My item arrived damaged- what do I do?

Oh no, we are so sorry about that! Please email us at contact@novarude.com so we can process a replacement or refund/exchange for you.  Please include in the subject line "damaged".

Can you ship my order as a gift?

Yes! No need to worry as all our orders are shipped in NOVA RUDE jewelry boxes and we do not include any paperwork with pricing.

If you would like to include a note in your box, just email contact@novarude.com to make this request along with your order number. Must be made within an hour after your purchase to be included.
